To greet and welcome guests in the lobby caf and serve guests with food and beverage items on caf menu.
Essential Functions:
Inform guests about specials, answer questions on menu items, and interact with guests in a positive and friendly manner.
Take orders from guests in the lobby caf including coffee, tea, and other beverages and food items.
Operate point of sale system; take and process payments.
Prepare specialty coffee drinks including brewing coffee and tea.
Serve items to customers.
Prepare minor food prep and knowledge of safety and health procedures.
Provide prompt and courteous service to each guest.
Take inventory and replenish items as needed.
Keep workspace and dining area clean and well maintained.

Attendance, at all scheduled training sessions and meetings, is required.
Channel guest comments, or unsatisfactory reports, to the Food and Beverage Manager or Supervisor on duty.
Communicate shift/daily operations information, business needs, repair and equipment needs to Management Team.
Notify your manager within 24 hours in the event you may have been injured on the job.
Fill out any injury forms as required.
Job
Responsibilities:
Understand caf equipment.
Report hazards to supervisor immediately.
Open and close cafe at the posted times.
Cleans up area after closing.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Standards:
The individual must possess the job knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job.

Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:
Prior customer service experience preferred.
Licenses or Certificates:
State requirements for first aid required.
Specific job knowledge, skills and abilities:

Be articulate and able to communicate effectively to staff and guests including children, verbally and in writing.
Be committed to the highest standards of hospitality and express a sincere interest in the needs and comfort of guests.

Physical Requirements:
Most work performed indoors.
Temperature is moderately warm.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
