Career Connections is looking for a Technology Support Specialist for a financial institution in Logan, Ohio. The position provides IT support to the organization by evaluating and analyzing hardware and software, troubleshooting user problems, assisting in staff training, maintaining functionality of equipment, traveling to different branches as needed, and developing IT standards for the organization.
This is a full-time, temporary-to-direct position hiring ASAP. The schedule can be flexible, though some evening or weekend hours should be expected, as IT staff are on call on rotation. The pay will be commensurate with experience and upon direct hire, this company offers comprehensive benefits.
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess demonstrated knowledge of PCs, Windows OS, etc. with at minimum three months' experience in a PC support role. Those able to work well within a team and handle stressful situations with a positive attitude preferred. Must be able to keep confidentiality and adhere to the organization's policies and procedures.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
