Radiologic Technician - PT

Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is a 25-bed critical access hospital (CAH) nestled in the heart of the beautiful Hocking Hills in Logan, Ohio. With more than 325 employees, our staff is here to serve the residents and visitors of our Hocking Valley community through various ancillary and 24-hour emergency care services.
We are currently seeking a Radiologic Technician to join our friendly, patient-centered clinical team. This position is for Part Time and/or Contingent/PRN hours.
About your next career:
Radiologic Technicians have an incredibly important role at HCVH. We need exceptional, hard-working Rad Techs to ensure diagnostic imaging including x-rays, CTs, and MRIs are completed timely and accurately so our medical team can deliver the best care to our patients.
You'll be expected to:
Operate computed radiographic equipment, picture archiving communication system, prepares room, equipment, supplies, and contrast media.
Provide patient services using imaging modalities.
Demonstrate knowledge to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs
Adhere to the five fundamentals of service
Provide assistance and training to coworkers, laboratory personnel, and students
What you need for the job:
Associates degree from accredited Radiological Technician program or equivalent
Currently licensed by the State of Ohio as a Radiological Technician
Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Post graduate Radiologic experience in a hospital setting preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
